DO-HS SUCCESSFULLY IMPLEMENTED IN DSHANIM FUCTORY
Four RO trains operate old, silica scaled and chlorine damaged RO membranes.
Within 50 days of DO-HS cleaning, injection was made, ones a day, with
intervals for the holidays.
One of the four containerized BWRO trains, Dshanim Factory, Israel. Since
DO-HS has been implemented the significant decrease in the pressure
drop between feed and brine stream and decreased in the product
conductivity were achieved, as shown in table below:

Graph below presents dynamics of the pressure drop (bar) and product
conductivity (µs) decrease during the DO-HS cleaning in the RO train 3.
Sixteen Membranes have being weighed before and after DO-HS
cleaning. They weight reduced from: 20-23 kg, to 17 kg. In both
cases membrane was weighed half hour after removal from pressure
vessel. The same membrane of 17 kg weighed after 24 hours
has 15.5 kg.
On the left photo above presented the membrane before DO_HS
cleaning. On the right photo above presented photo of membrane after 50
cycles of DO-HS cleaning.
